After reading
this article on MSN, I'm considering changing my long term goal of owning especially since I prefer something small (less to clean). Life goal: get an apartment within 12-18 months, no roomates. The one I have right now makes me feel like I live in a speakerbox. Great times.
Even though the styling isn't done (currently disguised as a longer S2000), this V10 monster is suppose to make over 500hp. Woot.

Crazy crazy crazy. This has got to be the most mind bending show I have ever seen. The ending is totally nuts. What we did learn is that there won't be a cheesy ending to the show. I have nothing more to say. The wait for season 4 will be torture. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Anticipation in the gaming community used to be at their highest at this time of the year. Big things happened within the span of only one week, but I enjoyed just the first 2 days, the last three is too much of an information flood. The famous
E3 has quietly disappeared. E
3 stands for Electronic Entertainment Expo, where game companies display their upcoming projects, many for the first time.
The first 2 days were my most enjoyable. Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony all held press conferences unveiling their projects to all the fans (and fanboys) causing many to fill their diapers and destroy their keyboards with saliva. The annual Miyamoto speech always met expectations (except for the 'Gamecube to GameBoy Advance link' year). This was also the first place to see unreleased systems and a good place to decide where to invest your money, and I'm not talking about stock, but what system to buy.
In 4 years when it is time for the big three to give birth again, will there be an event big enough to contain the delivery? Only time will tell.
Tomorrow will be the last episode of Lost for this year. Here are some of the questions I had before the season started.
- What happened to Michael and Walt?
- What made Locke able to walk?
- Not answered. We know that the 'Others' think that he is special.
- Who are the 'Others'?
- Natives of the island who killed all the members of the Dharma Project (except for Ben).
- Why did they want Kate, Jack, Sawyer and Hurley?
- Ben wanted Jack to perform surgery on him. Kate and Sawyer to convince Jack, and Hurley to send a message to the survivors to stay away.
- What do the numbers represent?
- What is the cloud creature?
- What did they do to Claire while she was captured?
- Inject her with medication to prevent her from dying? All pregnant women die on the island. But the baby wasn't conceived on the island, so who knows.
- Did someone detect the island/ship?
- Some people hired by Penny detected Desmond, they didn't know an island was at that location, all they saw was ocean.
- Is Locke, Eko and Desmond alive?
I've always seen this warning on heavy trucks but had no idea what it meant. Quoted from
this site.
"Caution Air Brakes– Stay 17 metres away - Heavy trucks use air brakes exclusively. Air brakes use compressed air to make the brakes work. Air brakes are designed to bring heavy vehicles to a complete stop very suddenly. Small vehicles are advised to stay a reasonable distance away since they lack the ability to stop suddenly and may end up in a collision."
The problems with downloads initiated from within a game (like the Halo 3 demo from Crackdown) is that it wont let you exit the download screen without cancelling the download. Here is the way around it:
- Start the download from within the game.
- Exit the download.
- Go back to the dashboard.
- Go to the Marketplace blade.
- Go to Account Management.
- Go to Download History.
- The download should be listed, select it and choose to Download Again.
- Do other stuff while it downloads.
There you have it. Background downloads FTW.
After Melinda got voted off the obvious winner of American Idol will be:
Jordin Sparks.

This game gets the official Dogs Without Wings thumbs up, or better known as DWWTU. Here's a quick breakdown. There are colors flying toward you on screen, you have to hold the correct button(s) down and strum the string of the guitar when the colors on screen get to the correct position. It contains over 70 popular songs with four different difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert), and includes multiplayer for up to 2 players.
Even if you are only mildly interested, you should get this game. While some of the harder difficulty are extremely hard at first, the easy setting eases you into this addiction. As a first time player it only took me a couple days to finish all the songs with 5 stars on easy. Medium was a little tricky at first, requiring you to use 4 of the five buttons, compared to 3 on easy. After a couple weeks I'm now making my way to Hard and all I can say is, it's a bitch. Not only do they throw all 5 buttons at you, which means you have to move your hand up and down the guitar, but the speed and frequency of the notes have also increased greatly. The frustrations you get trying to play a difficult new song quickly goes away after playing a song in your comfort zone. But playing a song you already mastered further increases your agility and accuracy. So you find yourself going back and forth trying to get those fingers up to Jimi Hendrix's level to pass the next track.
The one thing lacking is online. But I'm not sure how this could have been done. Even the normal latency of the internet would throw the sound off. Get this game before Forza 2 comes out.
Tighten up the graphics bitches!
