I have to say I didn't know this movie existed. I found it in Blockbuster while browsing their newly released section. This is definitely one of the better documentaries I have seen lately. The movie itself is a presentation by Al Gore about global warming. He shows the changes that the atmosphere has been through since the industrial boom, then describe the predictions of what will happen if we continue on our current path.
There is really not much to review but his presentation was excellent, and it was interesting all the way through. If you are into this stuff, you should see this film.

Yes, I finally went HD. I got a 40"
Samsung LN-S4051D for about $1399 after $600 instant rebate. After reading a bunch of reviews I got mixed messages about processing lag. Some said it had it, some said it didn't. Even IGN's article on lag
here states that this display lags for 480i/p. At the store I made sure they had a decent return policy, then I said "What the heck." I've been playing games on this for over a week and I have to say, I'm very satisfied. Gears of Wars looks incredible. I even tried the Gamecube with F-Zero GX without issues (it outputs at 480i). Maybe I have a newer BIOS? (Manufactured October 2006)
I am glad I went HD and maybe it was better that I did wait, because the prices are better than ever. And the panels have also improved a few generations. I guess the reason they are selling these out cheaper now is that they are 720p, not 1080p. Now everyone is throwing around 'True HD' to define 1080p, but I didn't previously own a TV in my room, and I'm not planning on upgrading until this dies.

This was not a faulty battery, they initiated the explosion. At least there is some warning before the flames start coming out.

It is pretty good so far. Not sure if it met the expectations, but it is enjoyable.

Wtf? This was suppose to make me want to wait almost 3 months for the
next episode? And why did Kate have to pick Sawyer? Didn't he already
bang Ana Lucia? I bet she screws him over like every other man in her
past.
I
will still watch next year, I'm too far in to stop now. For all the
hype this episode seems to leave more questions unanswered. Jack is
telling them to run but he doesn't know that they are on another
island. If we take Juliet's word, some of the Others want Ben to die
anyway. So leaving him bleeding and recapturing Kate and Sawyer
wouldn't be a bad decision. Alex doesn't seem to know who her mom is.
Well. The wait begins. I want to see more of the Losties though.
Although another Kate episode wouldn't be a bad thing.

Yea, I bought Contra. Even after playing the demo I still went ahead and purchased it. Initial impressions? It feels weird, must be the control pad. I die a lot fighting with the precision of the pad. The levels are also much shorter than the NES version (this is an arcade port+advancement). I really got it for the coop but I have not tried that mode yet. Hope it gets better.

So, Eko is dead. Who would have guessed? He was too strong anyway, only bears had a chance against him. Minor mystery - Who is that one eyed guy in the hatch? Major mystery - What the hell is going on with the Others? Ben might be a dictator with some of the other Others turning against him (If we take Juliet's word for it). Ben is also the cancer victim, but will Jack save his life? Or will he go along with Juliet's plans?
The new guy is very annoying, I hope he dies soon.
The previews show Alex! This episode revealed a lot, wonder what the big mystery is. Maybe this is a copy of The Truman show!

Howard Stern rocks, plain and simple. Months before Stern got to Sirius
they removed him prematurely down here in Miami. Now I listen to Elvis
Duran and the morning zoo. The problem I find with other shows (other
than Stern) is that they are too much show. Even though Stern is
produced it comes over as a bunch of friends hanging around, keeping
nothing from the listeners. On satellite they hold nothing back,
including the callers. It is a much more pleasant listen without the
dump button being pushed. I still miss Jackie though.
Scott Farrell, Bubba the Love Sponge and Jackie Martling (he got his
own show) also keep the fire going after Stern finishes his 4+ hours.
After the 2 day preview I'm actually thinking of subscribing. Oh, and
let's not forget the shorter advertisement times. Regular radio sux.
