Solution: Windows Media Player 12 Resizing Issue in Windows 7 RC
For some odd reason whenever I try to play a video in Windows 7 RC, WMP would open to a very tiny window. In previous versions, it would remember the size of the last time the program was closed, but this was not working. By accident I found that resizing the window while playing an MP3 would cause it to remember the dimensions. So in summary:
  1. Open MP3 file.
  2. Resize window.
  3. Close.

Grrr
Well this fix worked for me until a minute ago it for some reason gave me the WMP setup screen again. now it's back to constantly being JUST smaller than full screen even if I try this.

I've tried your solution of resizing and then closing the window and it doesn't change anything for me. This issue is seriously driving me crazy. Does Microsoft every create any programs that aren't completely filled with errors and problems?
