Guitar Hero 2 (Xbox 360) - Review
Guitar Hero 2 This game gets the official Dogs Without Wings thumbs up, or better known as DWWTU. Here's a quick breakdown. There are colors flying toward you on screen, you have to hold the correct button(s) down and strum the string of the guitar when the colors on screen get to the correct position. It contains over 70 popular songs with four different difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert), and includes multiplayer for up to 2 players.

Even if you are only mildly interested, you should get this game. While some of the harder difficulty are extremely hard at first, the easy setting eases you into this addiction. As a first time player it only took me a couple days to finish all the songs with 5 stars on easy. Medium was a little tricky at first, requiring you to use 4 of the five buttons, compared to 3 on easy. After a couple weeks I'm now making my way to Hard and all I can say is, it's a bitch. Not only do they throw all 5 buttons at you, which means you have to move your hand up and down the guitar, but the speed and frequency of the notes have also increased greatly. The frustrations you get trying to play a difficult new song quickly goes away after playing a song in your comfort zone. But playing a song you already mastered further increases your agility and accuracy. So you find yourself going back and forth trying to get those fingers up to Jimi Hendrix's level to pass the next track.

The one thing lacking is online. But I'm not sure how this could have been done. Even the normal latency of the internet would throw the sound off. Get this game before Forza 2 comes out.
