Rainbow 6: Vegas (Xbox 360) - Mini Review
Rainbow 6 Vegas First of all, coop story mode should be implemented in every game. I played through Call of Duty 3 after this and Gears of War and it felt like something was missing. This game, like GRAW (another UbiSoft game), uses very toned down graphics in their multiplayer modes. The briefings you get while riding the helicopter is also absent in coop, leaving a long boring flight to your destination. On top of that, if you die you have to sit though the whole thing again, ARGH! Since coop games are the minority these issues are easily overlooked.

Story mode is fairly lengthy, and should probably take about 10 or more hours to complete. In addition, every multiplayer map is also included in a 'Terrorist Hunt' mode, which drops you into the map against anywhere from 25-50 terrorists. Unlike coop story, there is no respawn here, so you have to be extremely efficient if you want to complete a map. Know that 'Terrorist Hunt' is similar to the coop mode in GRAW, but with much more maps. I don't remember what the limit was for GRAW, but Rainbow 6 restricts you to 4 players in both coop modes.

If you like action games, this is definitely a rental, possibly a buy if you like the deathmatch modes. Don't let the bad multiplayer graphics turn you off to this otherwise fun game.
